This week has been field trip week at our house. Both Noble and Ashley had school field trips to attend. Ashley's field trip was to the Pumpkin Patch in Belzoni (she calls it the punkin patch). Let me tell you, you have not been on a field trip until you go with about 13 3 and 4 year olds. They were so excited. The place was pretty cool and the kids enjoyed every minute. There were Hay Slides (see the picture below where Ashley is sliding off the hay bale), old lawnmowers, hollowed out tree trunks, and other old farm equipment for the kids to play on. And we did get to pick a pumpkin to take home. By 12:00 the kids were ready for a nap and so were the adults.

Noble had his field trip to the zoo. We thought that it was going to be raining, but luckily it stopped before we left the school. He and his class had a great time seeing all the animals and having a picnic lunch. John and I went with him and when we left the zoo, I was ready for a nap again. When I was a kid and we took a field trip, I don't remember the teachers getting tired. How did they do it?

In all, it was a very exciting week. I will be glad to get back to a normal week, next week (whatever that is).
Enjoy your weekend!
