Christmas Tag

OK, You know that Christmas is my FAVORITE time of year, right? Well my cousin had this on her site and I had to copy it!(Thanks Kendy, hope you don't mind). Anyway, just thought that I would share.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? paper--I just love the paper, and every year I want to buy more!

2. Real tree or Artificial? Both! love the ease of an artificial, but last year we started getting a real tree and plan on doing that again. But I must say that the real ones look completely different when you get them home!

3. When do you put up the tree? thanksgiving evening, if not before

4. When do you take the tree down? I used to wait until New Years, but with kids and getting back to school, it is usually within four days after Christmas

5. Do you like eggnog? Absolutely!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? We really got too much, but if I had to pick one thing it would be the Barbie motor home

7. Hardest person to buy for? Doug--very particular about what he likes.

8. Easiest person to buy for? Ashley. I am always finding stuff for her

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes. Precious Moments Nativity.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? The dinosaur statue from a student. But it was really sweet of him to give me something.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Holiday Inn and White Christmas.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? All the things that we only cook around the holidays to take to gatherings.

16. Lights on the tree? Of Course!

17. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night--hands down favorite

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Both. Christmas morning at home and then to Cleveland for Christmas with the Newton's

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and of course Rudolph!

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas Morning

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Stress--but I am cutting that out this year. Planning is the key!

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I love the homey look of a Christmas tree with ornaments collected over years and others made by the kids.

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Ours is really Christmas breakfast, breakfast casserole, sausage balls, etc.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? a stress-free Christmas ( I am already working on that)

27. Does Santa wrap your gift or leave them unwrapped? Both--When Santa brought John gifts they were unwrapped (probably because he knew it would only make John mad to waste time with the paper), but when he brought them to me they were always wrapped (probably because he knew that I love the surprise of Christmas morning and opening each gift one at a time). So now that we have Noble and Ashley, Santa does both!
